One of the Best Rice Rolls I’ve Had – Worth the Drive!
This place seriously has the best rice rolls I’ve eaten so far. Super soft texture and just hits the spot every time. It’s one of those simple dishes that always makes you crave more. And the best part? The price is incredibly affordable for the quality you get.
I actually don’t mind driving all the way from North to South just for this rice roll—it’s that good.
They also serve stir fried ho fun, which is tasty too, though I often find it a bit under-seasoned for my preference. Still enjoyable, just needs a little extra soy sauce
Bonus: They sell a good range of frozen food, like dumplings and buns. I highly recommend both—always stock up whenever I’m here!
If you’re into comfort food that’s affordable, homemade, and full of flavor, this spot is definitely worth checking out

The food was excellent and very cheap. I had the dumplings as pictured, and they were delicious and well prepared.
The food is served on paper plates, and the dining area can best be described as practical and barebones, so it's not a place you go to for the ambiance.
The service was fast despite how busy it was when I was there.
The restaurant also has a large frozen section where you can buy dumplings and buns at very good prices to take home.
Would recommend for the food.

This Auckland spot has some amazing Chinese food! The rice noodle rolls are so chewy and the sauce is delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other flavors. And let me tell you, the polo bun and egg tarts were a hit - they disappeared in no time! I also grabbed some frozen BBQ pork buns to take home - there are so many savory and sweet flavors to choose from. Plus, the restaurant has plenty of parking, it's clean and the staff are super friendly.

Tucked away behind a carpark in front of a few spice stores, the store is a little hard to find.
Large portions of rice rolls with good variety of fillings and you can add ingredients for extra cost. Adding an egg to the beef roll is a must try!
We also got two different won ton soups ans noodles. Taste was average, the soup tasted like the water they used to boil the wontons and the pork filling inside the wonton still has the pork smell in it. Both soups were quite bland sadly.
The menu has other rice and noodle options and some fried foods and tarts in the cabient similar to what you see in yim cha such as sesame balls and portugese tarts.
They also have fridges with frozen packets of dumplings and steams buns to purchase to take home.
Overall environment is pretty average as it looks like they've just put in some tables and chairs for a dine in option but tables are clean and cuterly are all dispoable and recyclable.

A hidden gem in Panmure. Located behind the car park and entrance is hidden to the right of the sign. Cheap and affordable food. They have rice rolls and buns, noodles and tofu dishes. As well as desert buns and egg tarts. I would suggest you to grab a table first and then get someone else to order at the counter. They also sell buns you can cook at home
